This is a solid silver Gemeinhardt 2S flute, serial number 414203. This flute is in superb condition, no real wear of note even on the touch points. It has a sterling silver headjoint, body, and foot. This is a closed hole flute, great for advancing students that are still uncomfortable with open hole. It produces a warm tone, an almost velvety quality and is very free blowing and responsive. Perfect for doublers that want a forgiving instrument.
