The dress is made from stained mulsin. The wrap is made from old, grungy cheesecloth. The bottom and sleeves are shredded. I hung the dress on a old stick, attached a rusty hanger and a grubby tag that had the words "Salem Witch Hunt" printed on it.

In the fall of 1996, John Kelly began designing the N (nu) Series Furnishings. Their objective was to reduce each furnishing to just two (2) basic elements, frame and container. By assembling vertical surfaces with frames; bending the containers to form curved planes; and reducing horizontal surfaces to glass panels; an elegant line of furnishings was launched that is a contemporary interpretation of traditional furniture. ConstructionAll N (nu) Series Furnishings are made from walnut and detailed with glass tops and shelves, and stainless steel drawer pulls. Three coats of matte lacquer and one coat of finishing wax provide a sturdy, non-toxic finish that penetrates deep into the walnut.
