This cfusty bread is excellent right from the bread machine with just a schmeer of butter and or jam. The taxture is hearty enough to use for sandwiches, and the mild rye and even more mild dill flavor will not compete with the filling of the sandwich. One caution: Don't forget to add the yeast to the other ingredients before you start the bread machine ;-)
