I love my pail...However I was sad when the bamboo pail split on one of the joints, I ended up putting some rubber bands around the pail to hold it together. Now I’ve had it about a year and a half and the plastic liner has cracked on the bottom so I’m no longer able to use it unless I can find a replacement for it. Good luck and keep composting.
