This saw was designed with the pro in mind. every feature of the saw is very well thought out. even with a 10" blade this saw has a bigger cut capacity than 90% of the 12" saws on the market. NOTE: this thing needs adjusting out-of-the-box. How to do this is simple. Get a carpenters square, lower the blade of the saw, put the square against the blade & tighten down the fence so its 90 degree's. Do same for other side. Also, you will need to adjust the laser guide manually, the bracket that holds it in place is a cheap flimsy piece of metal & bends easily. If you knock into it it will go out of alignment but I don't see how you could do this after adjusting it the first time.
