Bill Thomas set up in 1985 to make khakis in the World War II army pattern when he could no longer obtain them in army surplus stores. The 8.5 oz. twill is 100% cotton, American made. Bills Khakis are now professionally pre-washed to stablilize sizing improve comfort. Model 2 have a somewhat trimmer cut than Model 1, but still full with about one inch less through the rise, seat and leg.
