The rounded, smooth-margined leaves and somewhat squat, but prominent and numerous, white, pink, or deep pink flowers, lend great charm to the early spring garden. The flowers cheerfully withstand snow's coming and going, and have been seen looking perky after the temperature dipped to 0F. You can't have too many of...

I bought some of these in purple at a local nursery in town. All the neighbors would comment how pretty they were when they walked by each night. I will be adding some of the white ones this spring. So easy to maintain! Note: They will bloom all winter in the south if you cover them when it gets below freezing. I forgot to and the leaves are turning a little yellow now. Definitely a flower worth the money!
