This is an absolutely exquisite and almost pristine Vintage, 1930's era beaded purse/clutch. I purchased this gem at a roadside antiques shop outside of Franklin, North Carolina some number of years ago. Very large chunk of applejuice Bakelite was once the clasp on a purse. It is 1 5/8 inch long, 1 1/2 inch wide and 3/4 inch thick. It has straight lines carved into the back. The clasp is in good working order. It could be used as a clasp on a purse or the clasp could be removed and the chunk used to create a piece of jewelry.
