This is a solid silver Artley Artist flute, serial number 125461. It features a solid silver headjoint, body, and foot. The flute is in excellent condition with just minor wear on a few touch points and no past damages or repairs. Pads were replaced recently and are in like-new condition and sealing great. This is an older series sterling silver Artley Artist flute, serial number 30772. This flute has a sterling silver headjoint, body, and foot. It has the offset G and pads are in excellent shape, sealing perfectly. There is only minor surface wear on a few touch points but overall outstanding condition. A great doubler's flute for its quick and easy response.

The fact is a good piece of equipment makes the skill-level of the trainee exponential. You simply cannot play at the advanced skill levels required if you're playing an Artley, Buffet, Bundy, Gemeinhardt, Selmer, Emerson, Vito, Winston, Armstrong or other "band flute". And it doesn't matter if you bought the "Professional Model" made by these companies. They're still not fine flutes for REAL skill-building and college level performances. They're too clunky and poorly designed to do what you'll need...

This flute is in very good, usable condition. In the original case. Model 890 Serial number 124890. Measures 16 in. long. Artley Brand. I believe this is silver plated, very shiny. I'm not a musician but can see no reason this shouldn't play as intended. pads etc. are in good condition. Nice instrument that I understand is from the mid-century era.
