Use (1) pillow for each (10) gallons of water. Rinse pillow and place directly in aquarium or in the path of flowing water, ie. the filter. Remove pillow after about 1 month or when it becomes strongly discolored. Pillows can be "recharged" by placing the pillow and two tablespoons of salt into a 6 oz. glass of water.
