Thorlos Lite Walking offers the most padded protection possible in a lightweight construction. CoolMax® and stretch nylon run throughout the sock to provide superior wicking characteristics. Medium density padding is added to ball and heel for added protection. Lightweight padding in arch and lace pad provides protection and better fit. Level 2 Protection: Provides Moderate Protection for those activities that are somewhat strenuous but are not of long duration.

I've always loved filas. I walk from 4-6 times a week about 2 and half miles a day and filas have alway been very durable. I have two dislikes about this shoe. The heel area seems bigger(slips a bit)like a mans tennis shoe and I wish there was one more laceup on the shoe. Maybe if there was an extra laceup it would keep the shoe from slipping in the heel area. But the shoe is very comfortable as I wear thicker socks and a heel insert. It's also an attractive shoe.
