As for the item its self... It seems to work fine so far. FYI, the cassette player has a lot of white noise when in use. For example, if you had a tape in and wanted to turn the music down really low (like for bedtime) all you would hear is the white noise from the player its self at the really low volume. However, I have to add that I have not owned a cassette player in many years, so maybe they are all this way and I never noticed before! My friend has the hello kitty one and it is loud too.
