i got these phones when they came with the psm200 personal monitor system. they did the job for a while, but then i stepped on them and decided to buy the scl-3... night and day difference... the scl2 sounds hollow and tinny, with little to no bass... also the waxguards are a pain and if you run out you have to order them. the scl-3 are smaller, lighter, sound better and only a little more. i have since moved up to the scl-4 and those are pretty good, better bass than the 3. if you play any instrument...
