I have waited a long time to get any version of Superman on DVD let alone HD-DVD. This version of Superman is probably what every Superman is based off of. (I.e. Smallville and Lois & Clark.) From the acting of the great Christopher Reeve (who is in fact my hero) and Margot Kidder and of course Gene Hackman as Lex Luthor. Chris performance is taken from almost every actor after him that played the duel role of Clark Kent/Superman. The same goes for Margot Kidder's Lois Lane and Hackman's protrayal...
