I was delighted with this Linksys product. I had had a Linksys WRT54G router/switch/wireless access point for two years when it ''died''. On May 20(2009), I ordered a replacement Linksys WRT54GL and it arrived on my front doorstep via UPS on May 27. I set it up and got it running in short order. This unit apparently uses Linux, but I have never bothered to ''break in'' on that part of its software(or firmware?). They're all still working fine. I even have a v1.0 GS that still is in use and running DD-WRT firmware. I was delighted with this Linksys product. I had had a Linksys WRT54G router/switch/wireless access point for two years when it ''died''. On May 20(2009), I ordered a replacement Linksys WRT54GL and it arrived on my front doorstep via UPS on May 27. I set it up and got it running in short order. This unit apparently uses Linux, but I have never bothered to ''break in'' on that part of its software(or firmware?).
