The speaker cab is constructed of top-quality birch plywood and coated in rugged DuraFlex. Just purchased this sub 2 weeks ago for my son's Birthday party in our backyard and was very happy with the overall sound quality: tight deep bass, smooth roll-of frequencies, well built. This sub is a little power hungry since I bridged an QSC RMX-4050HD with 4000 Watts RMS into 4 ohms which this sub is rated at 4 ohms, and still not enough power to crank it at its loudest. However, if I crank it up any louder, I will get a citation from the city since the cops already came for the first warning...
