Average Price:$2,999 —— I did lots of research before deciding on the Gibson TV J-45 to complete my collection of iconic American guitars. The action was perfect out of the box. I had to have my guitar tech lower a couple of frets to cure a rattle on the low E or I would rate it 5 stars. When I first opened the case I could smell the aroma of nitrocellulose. The instrument is much lighter than I thought it would be for a "workhorse" but it doesn't seem fragile at all. I also own a Martin, Taylor, Ovation, two Seagulls...
