these are among some of the best bass strings i've ever heard. i put them on my yamaha RBX 774 and they are AMAZING!!! i have never used another brand of strings, but my teacher uses medium bass boomers on his modulus quantum 5 and he said not to go any other way. they are simply the best. great high and low end response. u dont even need to plug in to hear the rich tones. 2 thumbs up. only thing i had to do was trim them a bit, but other than that, they went on with ease.
