If I have learned anything from watching the Final Destination series of movies it's that Death has a real mean streak. And with the third installment the Grim Reaper has only gotten meaner. Now if you haven't seen the first two films, don't worry. The plot is pretty mush the exactly the same in all three films and you don't really have to have seen the others to understand what's going on.
