I use this yardstick to cut .022 chipboard, and it's great for that. The cork backing keeps it from slipping on the board. However, I can't use it on my Chinese Shuen paper because it bends, so is dangerous for paper. If the end struck the paper it would tend to tear it. It also doesn't slide easily enough on paper, but sticks and has to be lifted, which is annoying.
