I purchased this dollhouse for my five year-old granddaughter. She loves it! I shopped around and found others (of the same dimensions) that were less expensive, but not nearly as beautiful. The furniture is well made as well. My four year-old grandson plays with his sister too. The only improvement I would make is to add windows and doors to the "outside" of the house. The way it is now, you have put it up against a wall because the back (which should be the front of the house) is just plain white...
