Comments: When i hear ppl saying they only got 60 or 100 gallons out of this i am completely baffled. I probably got at least 500 gallons out of one cartridge and it was replaced before it turned purple. I even use this filter for drinking water and it taste just as good as ro water. I think its just as effective as a RO unit. RO units probably get you 99.9% pure but this one has to get the water at least 98 % pure. I am 2000 feet above sea level and may be this is why i can get more out of one...
