This animated feature from Don Bluth is aimed toward very young children. It follows the exploits of Stanley, the nicest troll in Troll Land. Unfortunately, the other trolls do not like too much niceness, and Stanley is banished from his homeland by the nasty Gnorga. He is sent to live in New York City with the hope that the banishment will cure him of his sweetness. May 30, 2009: I'm not a Cruise/Kidman or country music fan but I've always liked the sound track to DOT and, when its blu-ray version was on sale, I wanted to see it on my new HDTV. Well, it was terrific to see and Robert Duvall's acting was unforgettable. For me the "extras" were important because the film makers talked about how they couldn't have done this film with today's special effects; it had to be done -- like Top Gun -- by filming the real thing.
