Race Darnell (Patrick Swayze, Ghost, Point Break ) killed time on Death Row by writing love letters to women on the outside. But when his letters are sent to the wrong girlfriends, one of his "lovers" wants him dead. After a surprise release from prison, Darnell finds himself at the center of a cat and mouse game with a brutal killer, whose murders are aimed at framing the man who wronged her. But will Darnell be able to uncover the killer's identity before the law catches him?

The film exposes the extraordinary life experiences of ordinary people coping with turmoil as the world comes down on their country once again. The US war on the Taliban is only the latest in the series of 24 years of war and tyranny. But amazingly the new generations, who have never known peace, still have hope and dream of a future lived in prosperity and peace.
