ABEL #2 FRESHWATER/LIGHT SALTWATER PLIERS Machined from high tensile strength aluminum, anodized Hi-Gloss Black. Hard working tools built for a lifetime of use. Incredibly tough jaws are replaceable if you should ever damage them, as are the built-in cutters. Jaws are spring-loaded. Each plier has been tested to more than 1000 cuts of 80-pound test Monel wire, 100 cuts of 250-pound nylon braided wire, and still cut 7X mono cleanly! Abel pliers are offered in two different sizes to better serve the different environments a fisherman may encounter. The No. 2, weighing in at 2.9 oz., is for the freshwater angler, while the No. 4 (4.1 oz.) is more tailored to the bluewater angler.
