If you are familiar with the Guitar Hero franchise, then you will love this one. It is fantastic. I haven't been able to stop playing it since I got it. the reason that I gave it four stars instead of 5 is because the included guitar is not of the best quality. First I think that it's stupid that it requires a usb receiver, even though the PS3 has built in bluetooth. It just uses up one of my usb ports and looks tacky. Secondly, I have already had some issues where the buttons on the guitar stopped...

Xbox 1 & 360 Guitar Hero Wireless Les Paul Controller
The buttons have been changed from what we saw on the 360 controller to closer match the original PS2 layout. The round "knob" buttons for the start and back/select buttons are back so that people who prefer to use the back/select button to activate star power can once again do so. The more prominent start button also allows for players to pause the game more readily.

I was looking for an extra guitar to use as a bass guitar in Rock Band 2 and had read that most of the guitars were interchangable between games. This guitar at Buy.com was the least expensive one I could find so I took a chance that it would work with Rock Band 2. Super fast shipping and great price, and it DOES work with Rock Band 2! I do prefer the original Rock Band guitar overall, as I believe the fret buttons on this one are a little more cumbersome to use, since they are somewhat larger...
