The Star Diner is just across from White Plains Hospital on Post Road. It’s the sort of place you’ll definitely duck into if you’re visiting someone at the hospital, and I’m sure a lot of hospital staff eat there. We snuck over for lunch from work last week. I got the turkey club.

Now I must admit. I tried the veggie pizza — which has artichokes, zucchini, mushrooms… some of my favorite vegetables — but there were way too many toppings. It was overload. It threw off the ratio. I will try some of the other ‘zas, but for now, the best is the margherita.
