I am a very casual player who has been playing for 15 years, but went on a hiatus for probably the last 5 years or so. I previously owned a Marshall Valvestate 30W, but other than wanting to own a Marshall, I was never quite satisfied with it. I went to Guitar Center expecting to buy a the Peavy 15W Vyper combo, but was encouraged to check out the Vox instead. I want to preface my comments by saying that I have only had it for a few days, but that I am very happy with the amp, and have no regrets...
