Sales-tracking firm The NPD Group has issued its analysis of North American console hardware sales across January 2008, showing the Wii and PlayStation 3 outselling the Xbox 360.

A Chatterbean.com survey predicts that the Sony PlayStation 3 will be more popular than the Nintendo Wii. The lifestyle and entertainment Web site Chatterbean.com found that 76 percent of respondents to an "Are You Hot?" quiz question thought that the PlayStation 3 would be the hotter new video game console.

Coming to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii and Nintendo DS, Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing--conceivably the spiritual sequel to the oft-forgotten Sonic Drift series--will allow for four-player offline races and online matches for up to eight competitors.

Pretty nice but nothing incredibly exciting. Still hoping to see some numbers on a 850+ mhz system and see what the card can really do. AGN ran some tests on a 800mhz system, I'll try to dig up some comparitive scores unless someone else beats me to it.

Ubisoft Brings Two to PSP [psp] Ubisoft has announced two upcoming action games for PSP. First up is a version of Ubisoft Montreal's Rainbow Six Vegas, previously announced for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The story will parallel that of the home console games, and has players alternating between control of two main characters, field operative Brian Armstrong and sniper Shawn Rivers. Ubisoft promises a "tailored control system built specifically for the PSP system," as well as exclusive PSP content...
