The stands (in black) are very attractive and match my B&W 602's perfectly. There was a marked improvement in sound, too. I have two small nits...The biggest being that the plastic cups included for the spikes to rest in (preventing hardwood floor damage) are pretty useless. The tiny indentation for the spike is so small that you get no feedback when the cup is engaged. Trying to put four of these on is a lesson in frustration. If one comes unseated after your speakers are attached, it's a dicey...

I did not fill the riser tubes with sand or shot(an option mentioned in the instructions), because they seem quite substantial enough to do the job for which they are designed. I used this stand under my JM Reynaud Duets. VTI is one of the few companies that makes the top platform big enough for larger mini monitors.
