Of all the protein bars I've tasted, this is NOT one I would confuse with a candy bar. The chocolate coating was "soft" and messy on my hands. The texture was tolerable. Flavorwise, it was at best quite bland; it had a peculiar aftertaste. I guess "stale" is the word I'd use to describe it. Also, it didn't "feel" as substantial as other bars, nor did it seem to "stick with me" as other bars do.
