Cava is one of the greatest values in the world of sparkling wine. Castellblanch is one of the oldest cava producers in the Penedès region of Northeastern Spain. It was founded as by the Jeronimo Parera family in 1908. Brut Extra is aged for 1 1/2 years in the bottle before release; it is made from a blend of 33% Macabeo, 33% Parellada and 33% Xarel-lo, all native grapes.

ENRICO PROSECCO BRUT is a delicious Italian Sparkling Wine produced from the Prosecco grape. The color is a brilliant straw yellow enlivened by its strands of tiny bubbles. It's aromatic quality is fresh and rich in fruity aromas of apple and pear with a hint of citrus fruit which fades into the floral bouquet. The mouth is soft, yet dry thanks to its good acidity. The winery, Bellussi Spumanti SRL, is located a little over 30 miles from Venice in the Conegliano-Valdobbiadene area.

This Cuvee Brut is elegantly delicate and balanced with a crisp methode champenois character. Although ideally lean and sophisticated, there is plenty of structure and excellent viscosity for a satisfying mouthfeel. A persistent column of tiny beading, plus marked hints of strawberry and toast make this sparkler absolutely irresistible. Cuvee Brut is not too dry and not too sweet. Nicely well balanced, this crisp and jazzy wine delivers delicate apple and citrus characteristics.

Oh, you toasty little devil. After six years en triage (on yeast), we had high expectations for this vintage bubbly and it still blew us all away. Tantalizing aromas of green apple and fresh baked biscuits with layers of citrus and subtle spice notes. Once we tasted it, we grabbed all that was remaining. This is one of the last remaining remnants of a Napa Valley icon. Get it before it's gone.

A splashy Brut to celebrate J's 20th anniversary, the J Cuvee 20 is an assemblage from the winery's best cool-climate vineyard sites in the Russian River Valley. Lemon zest, honeysuckle and fainty yeasty aromas dominate the nose, with crisp apple and tart grapefruit underpinnings on the palate. Light toast, caramel and almond flavors round out the mid-palate. There's balanced acidity and fruit on the finish. An excellent display of depth , complexity and that J's still got it after 20 years.

The Gruet wines are made from grapes grown in New Mexico at 4300 feet above sea level by a family that also makes wine in Champagne.
