This toy box is very durable made from good quality wood products. It is fully finished and smooth on all edges. It has a good amount of room inside and the lid closes slowly and stops until you push it closed, so little fingers won't get pinched. There were two small spaces along one of the side pieces where two of the wood lengths were joined, but not severe enough for a real complaint.
