Planting guide: Start indoors 8 weeks before time to set in open ground. Cover thinly, then pack firmly and water. When plants are about 2 inches high, transplant to 3 inches apart in flat or pot. After danger of frost, set 2 to 3 feet apart in garden, but before doing so, harden the plants by gradually exposing them to the outdoor air for about a week.

Planting & Growing: Sow seeds in flats 6-8 weeks before the last frost and thin to 2" after the first true leaves appear. Glacier is a very, very early tomato, having ripe tomatoes in about 58 days after transplanting it outside, and it will set fruit in quite cool weather. It also bears fruit straight through the season, unusual in such an early tomato. I grew it last year and was amazed to have my first ripe tomato June 8, after a very rainy and cold spring.
