This set is great for when you've got some time, or are making tea for multiple people. It takes quite a bit longer than popping a mug of water in the microwave, but is more convenient than putting four mugs of water in the microwave, then steeping four teabags. I bought it because I received a canister of loose tea from a friend and didn't know what to do with loose tea. This got the job done, and for a good price, too.
