August 29, 2009: I am having difficulty getting through my Lisa Gardner books only because it's the same old "lick" in every book. I can almost anticipate the ending, and that is not a good thing. I want to be surprised, not bored. Suspense to me is a Jeffrey Deaver books. Ms. Gardner's books are more "oh no, I see how it's going to end already." A disappointment, but I will keep reading her books in hope they improve.
