This delightful sequel to the hilarious hit comedy is a piece of divinely inspired lunacy! Xi again collides with the so-called civilized world when he embarks on a search for his children, who are accidental stowaways on a poacher's truck. He soon crosses paths with two very odd couples lost in the desert. Xixo, perplexed by their strange antics, nevertheless finds himself drawn into a crazy adventure with people who know how to make magic machines...but constantly need to be saved from the wilderness...

Kalahari bushman Xi (played by genuine bushman N!xau) is as surprised as the rest of his tibe when a Coke bottle, thrown from a passing plane, lands in the middle of their village. This "gift from the gods" proves to be a mixed blessing when the tribesmen fight over it and eventually use it for a weapon. To keep peace in the village, Xi is assigned to take the bottle to "the end of the earth" (actually a lush valley) and throw it back to the gods. Crazy II contains the same elements as the original including a propensity for sure-fire slapstick comedy. Bushman Xixo -- played by N!xau, retaining the charm and genial sincerity which made the original such a success -- returns, here having a series of misadventures searching for his two missing children. Meanwhile, a temperamental New York anthropologist is stranded in the desert with a local naturalist, and she's having a doozy of a time with the wildlife. Director Uys again displays a talent...
