November 30, 2009: Perhaps that which I find particularly compeling about this "version" of the Beatles saga is the in depth family histories and relationships of early friends. I was also pleasantly surprised to find the author's presentation insightful, though I suspect liberties were taken at times (remembering minute details of specific events, conversations, weather, attitudes, etc. 30 and 40 years hence is tenuous, at best).
