These are my favorite yarn swifts. Beautifully finished, and the threads on the two bolts are very well done and clean. They are a finely finished birch for supporting skeins of yarn of various sizes. The medium size is said to hold up to a 60" circumference skein, but the way I measure it, I can get a 70" circumference hank of yarn on it. I've set this one up in the store. How It Works - This unit generates a unique and distinctive diamond-shaped patterned ball as a result of its complex rotation. Two things must happen at the same time in order to wind a perfect ball. Power Swift/Skein Winder
This is a great tool to add to your spinning tools. If you add a power group using the square wheel technology you can also use this as Skein Winder. Put one of each on the table and you will have a great working combination.
