Highly complex scent. At first I didn't know what to think of it, now it's one of my favorites. It starts spicy but fades to a warm, subtle scent. My only complaint is, it only lasts about 4 hours or so.

Easily my absolute favorite Men's cologne. I follow my hubby around when he wears this & I have been known to wear it myself! This is a great clean, unisex scent. Fresh, kind of green but yet I can smell a powdery drydown on this. I think this is a scent that really would smell slightly different on everyone. Perfect for those with allergies. I actually spoke with the maker on the phone one time & he stated that this is the reason he made this scent & his others were for people that had a hard time...

One of the best of all time. This is an EdP version of the original Gendarme. It was created for the 20th anniversary of the scent. Is the same Gendarme you know and love but with an intensified lavender top note that is superb. This was created for men so it is a mistake here to say it is for women. Gendarme is the perfect light, clean, fresh out of the shower scent that was created for people who can't stand typical heavy commercial fragrances.

Blowing through the neighborhood drycleaners. Perhaps the most intersting of the Gendarmes, though it still reminds me to get my shirts starched. Surprised women don't comment on how much they like to wear this men's frag, given the long lasting lavender note. Perhaps they hate to me reminded of doing the laundry, no matter how fresh it smells. Good juice, but not for me.
