This is a genuine Riccar HEPA filter part # RF15, designed to fit Riccar 1500S, 1500M, and 1500P canister models. This HEPA filter will also fit Simplicity S20, S22, and S24 canister models. Riccar and Simplicity are sister companies and come off of the same assembly line, and take the same filters. This filter is labeled Riccar, but will also fit Simplicity canisters. This is the HEPA Filter for the Simplicity canister models S18, S18L, S20, S24, S24L. This filter is located in the very back of the vacuum cleaner, behind the filter cover. Simply remove the filter cover by pressing the tab down, and pulling the cover off. This is the main filter that stops allergens from escaping into the air, and should be replaced once a year.

This is the secondary and HEPA filter for the Riccar Moonlight, and Simplicity Jack compact canister models. Each filter set includes 1 secondary, and 1 HEPA filter. The secondary filter can be washed, but it should be replaced at least once a year. If someone in your household suffers from breathing issues, or allergies, you should replace these filters every 6 months. This is the HEPA filter for the full size Simplicity canister models, S30, S36, S36L, S38, S38L. If your Simplicity has a lower model number then these, THIS WILL NOT FIT your model. This filter is located on the top of the vacuum cleaner. You can find this filter by finding where the air is being exhausted. Simply pull the tab for the filter cover, and remove the filter cover. All Simplicity models using this filter will have a filter change indicator located on the handle of the hose. When this indicator turns on, it's time to replace the filter. Also when changing this filter, you will need to push the filter reset button located right next to the filter underneath the filter cover.
