This pesto sauce made from pistachio is delightfully different from the usual basil pesto. Its made by the Faraci family from Floridia, which is in the heart of Sicily. With its sweeter taste, we find that it combines well with bacon. So, frequently, our pasta sauce is simply Pesto di Pistacchio with some crumbled bacon and, of course, extra virgin olive oil.
