The drama of the trunk line is strong- and overall movement very powerful. The good taper and solid base keep the tree grounded and balanced. Expertly wired. You can't really see in this photo but some bark has been stripped at the base in preparation for shari styling. 1 1/2 inch trunk. 20 inch spread. pot is 6 1/2 inches tall and 7 inches wide. We envision more detailed shari carving, perhaps some jin and a pot that is a little more sophisticated next year.
