This very handy ceramic shaving mug has a concave bowl with holes to allow the water to reach and lather the soap bar. On the left you fill the mug with water to rinse your razor off between shaves as well as supply the soap cake with water. No need for a sink, you have all you need right here. This Colonel Conk shaving mug is patterned after the type of mug barbers used back in the old days. One side carries the cake soap which has holes underneath so it drains excess water and soap into the body of the mug. The other side is open to the underside of the soap and was used to store hot water which in the really old days was heated by barbers in a kettle.
