Body Bonz are made of monofilament polyamide, the same material that non-absorbable suture material is made from. Monofilament polyamide has an FDA rating of being non-allergenic. Body bonz are completely clear, making them a great retainer. Body bonz are flexible making them very comfortable to wear. Please note that sizes are approximate. Body bonz cannot be autoclaved; therefore, we recommend them for healed piercings. They can be chemically disinfected or washed well in soap and water.

I usually love Anatometal, but this retainer was falling out constantly. it felt a little smaller compared to the 10g jewlery I own by them, and it was long, and loose. It would fall down and you could see the steel in my nose. When I was sneezing or had a runny nose, it would fall out constantly. It started to fall out so much that I was constantly checking to see if it was there. Eventually, the thing fell out entirely, and I replaced it with a glass septum retainer.
