Pewter Dragon Yixing Teapot

This teapot is the only Yixing we carry with pewter. The pewter and purple sand clay Yixing is a dynamic usage of materials with the dragon depicted in pewter relief. The spout is comprised of solid pewter and the handle is natural bamboo fastened by copper. Hot water is poured into the tea pot to rinse the tea pot, and then refilled with hot water and a 1/3 of tea leaves. Once the leaves have been soaked in the hot water, drain the water out immediately. Thus leaving only the tea leaves in the pot. Then refill the pot with hot water up to the brim and leaves to steep for half a minute. While the tea is being steeped, the cups should be rinsed with hot water to warm the cup. Then enjoy.
