This heavy weapon has a blade that is 33" long, 1 3/8" wide at hilt with three fullers and is double edged. The scabbard is leather covered wood with steel mounts. The chape is finished with a ball tip. Dated circa 1750, this is an infantry weapon for tough Scots who learned how to handle its heft. Weighs 4 lbs.
