The Salton Iced Tea Maker works great. We use it almost daily. As others have mentioned, the filter and cover to the pitcher are becoming stained by the tea. I think that there is supposed to be a small spring on the bottom of the filter that helps stop the flow if you remove the pitcher while brewing.
