5 pages in length. Early Victorian jewelry is readily associated with the Romantic Period, inasmuch as the new queen wore myriad exquisite pieces during her reign. Her adoration for all things bejeweled led to a long-standing trend – both historically and by today's standards – that spared no expense with regard to lavishness; a style of ornamental wares that her court and constituents eagerly followed. Bibliography lists 4 sources.

This is a nice pre 1860 french bronze of a young man harvesting wheat. He most likely was a clock statue. He is in nice original condition and was cast in two sections. There is a small hole at the base of the wheat bundle which may have held another part on the statue but it does not seem like it would have needed anything else in the composition. This is 9 1/2 tall by 10 inches wide.
