Zhang Fei was the sworn brother of Liu Bei and Guan Yu and one of the Five Tiger Generals. Before meeting Liu Bei and Guan Yu, he was a wine-seller and a butcher. His most spectacular battle was his valiant stand at Long Slope Bridge in Chang Ban, where he issued a challenge so fiercely it's said one of Cao Cao's generals died on the spot.
